Employment Hero is Australia’s leading all-in-one HR, payroll and people management platform. Designed to make employment easier and more rewarding for everyone, the platform guides SME’s along  the path to success by powering more productivity every day. With a highly anticipated expansion into overseas markets, the time was right to realign the brand strategically, ensuring it was true to the vision of enriching the employment experience.

It was also vital that the brand identity positioned Employment Hero as a disruptive voice on the international stage. Put simply, it was time Employment Hero lived up to its name.

In repositioning Employment Hero, we set about bringing the ‘hero’ to life. Working with artist Alec Doherty, we created a unique brand character as an advocate for better employment—personifying our mission and amplifying our message.

The Hero lives in a bold new world. A new graphic language, distilled from the logo, serves as a dynamic framing element. Photography, by Benito Martin, captures raw and energetic moments at work. While a direct brand voice challenges conventional notions of employment, championing a better way.
