Batlow Cider is a 100% Australian, independent cider company formed in 2011 when two Sydney-based brothers Rich & Sam Coombes, had the vision of turning Australia’s favourite apples into Australia’s favourite cider.
For the first time, Batlow Cider has brewed up two bubbly delicious hard seltzers made from real fruit to join their premium quality ciders. They approached us to create a packaging design for their new seltzers Apple & Blackcurrant and Apple & Rhubarb Seltzer.
Our challenge was to create a design that could stand out in a crowded category whilst modernizing the Batlow brand.
The clean and tasty packaging combines bold patterns inspired by fresh and natural ingredients with a modern typographic treatment, creating a balanced can design that feels light and different.
